Muscular atrophy and fatty degeneration in the right infraspinatus muscle evident by high T1 and T2 signal intensities with the heterogeneous edema-like signal.
The rest of the muscle bulk around the right shoulder joint is preserved.
Case Discussion
Right infraspinatus muscle atrophy and fatty degeneration most likely representing subacute denervation atrophy secondary to trauma.
This case is also contributed by Dr. Najibullah Rasouly.
