OPG shows a lucency adjacent to 37 tooth continuous with lamina dura likely representing a radicular cyst. There is no evidence of osteomyelitis.

CT neck demonstrates a focal lucency adjacent to root of 37 tooth, consistent with history of dental abscess. There is extensive inflammatory stranding in left submandibular space.

The left submandibular gland is edematous and enlarged. The submental, left submandibular, jugulodigastric and lateral pharyngeal lymph nodes are also enlarged.

The left tonsil is enlarged with some mucosal edema tracking along lateral pharyngeal wall into hypopharynx.
