Neck pain after eating. Fish foreign body?

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

No radiopaque foreign body lodged in the soft tissue. No prevertebral soft tissue swelling.

Extensive reconstructive dental work, most with implant insertion.

Case Discussion

Dental implants are becoming increasingly more available and fashionable.

They may be observed incidentally on imaging of the neck, jaw and face. The cannulation of the implants is particularly well identifed on this film.
