Large lobulated cystic lesion with imperceptible walls at places, measuring approx. 30 x 41 x 38mm, likely arising from posterior right maxillary alveolus and extending into right maxillary sinus. Impacted tooth is seen at superomedial aspect of lesion. Lesion is abutting masseter muscle posteromedially and zygomatic arch anteriorly.

Case Discussion

Findings suggest likelihood of a dentigerous cyst. The differential diagnoses for such a lesion are many but the closest would be a periapical cyst or abscess. The presence of an impacted tooth and loacation favors dentigerous cyst.
