Large well-defined lobulated dermal and subcutaneous soft tissue mass of the cervicodorsal region, isodense to the muscles on non-enhanced images with a heterogeneous enhancement. No apparent invasion of the adjacent paraspinal muscles.
Left breast nodule with foci of macrocalcification (ultrasound +/- mammography was requested).
Case Discussion
MRI features of heterogeneously enhancing dermal and subcutaneous soft tissue mass, histologically proven as a dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP).
