Case Discussion

The most common location of an orbital dermoid cyst is in preseptal space and eyelids adjacent to frontonasal suture and frontozygomatic suture. The temporal fossa is an uncommon location. In the case of temporal fossa and eyelids dermoid cysts the impression on adjacent bone must be evaluated and the cyst can have a stalk connection with the underlying bone that leads to recurrence of the cyst. The treatment of choice is complete surgical resection.
