Case Discussion
Mature cystic teratomas are referred to as dermoid cysts. Dermoids derived from more than one germ layer, and they can include hair, fat, muscle, teeth, skin, endocrine tissue. Fat/fluid level is diagnostic and found in 12% of ovarian dermoid. Rokitansky nodule or dermoid nipple is found in 81% of cases. 8-25% of ovarian dermoids are bilateral.
