Medium left effusion. Midly enlarged cardiophrenic lymph nodes. Mild aortocaval adenopathy. Medium ascites with large burden of diffuse peritoneal and omental nodules.
Case Discussion
The very rare diagnosis of desmoplastic small round cell tumor was confirmed with biopsy, which is a type of sarcoma that typically develops in younger males. This patient has extensive tumor spread throughout the peritoneal cavity in addition to a few nodal territories.
