Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

There is right cerebellar hemispheric venous angioma with draining vein to fourth ventricle. There is good delineation of the caput medusa like tributaries in SWAN Images.

Case Discussion

Developmental venous anomalies are the most frequently encountered cerebral vascular malformations. They are composed of dilated medullary veins converging centripetally into a large collecting venous system. They are usually asymptomatic.
