Presentation

2nd toe swelling. DM - for last 20 - 22 yrs. Previous surgical amputations in foot.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Post-surgical amputation status at 5th metatarsophalangeal joint (about 4 years back ).

Post-surgical amputation status through proximal phalanx of the great toe (about 4 months back ).

Lysis is noted in distal phalanx of 2nd toe with erosion of distal aspect of middle phalanx of 2nd toe with soft tissue swelling.

Dorsalis pedis arterial wall calcification is noted.
