Head injury.

Patient Data

Age: 2 months
Gender: Male
x-ray

Biparietal diastatic skull fracture.

Two areas of scalp hematoma. 

One overlying the left parietal linear fracture which extends towards the sagittal suture and across the midline. The other overlies the right inferior linear parietal fracture which extends to the squamosal suture.

No evidence of significant acute intracranial hemorrhage or extra-axial collection. No evidence of contusion, shear injury or hypoxic injury.
