Early pregnancy. Checking viability and dates.

Patient Data

Age: 32 years
Gender: Female

There are two intrauterine gestational sacs, forming a thick intertwin "membrane".

There is a single fetus in each gestational sac, each with a heart beat present. 

Twin A CRL measures 12.6mm and Twin B CRL 12.4mm - both concordant with a gestational age of 7w5d.

Case Discussion

Dichorionic diamniotic pregnancy - normal ultrasound demonstrating a typical appearance of a thick intertwin membrane.  CRL of Twin A and Twin B are concordant, with a gestational age of 7 weeks 5 days.
