Presentation

3rd gravida for a dating scan. History of 6 weeks and 4 days of amenorrhea. No complaints.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

There are intrauterine two gestational sacs. The right sac contains two yolk sacs with two embryos along with the cardiac activity in each. Left sac shows one yolk sac and one embryo with the cardiac activity.

Ultrasound findings favor dichorionic tri-amniotic (DCTA) triplets.
