Axial bone window
Comminuted fracture of the distal radial articular surface extending through the radial styloid process. Step deformity of the distal articular surface (lunate facet) measures a maximum of 3 mm.
Carpal bone alignment and joint spaces are preserved.
Soft tissue hematoma of the tissue surrounding the distal radial fracture.
Volar backslab in-situ.
Case Discussion
A die-punch fracture is the name given to an intra-articular fracture of the lunate fossa of the distal radius.
