Diffuse flowing ossifications along the anterior aspect of the cervical spine extending from C2 through C7. The intervertebral disc spaces are well maintained.
Minimal ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament along the lower cervical vertebrae is noted.
Case Discussion
Classic appearance of diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH). Flowing ossifications are seen along the anterior longitudinal ligament for at least four contiguous vertebral bodies. It may be associated with ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament.
