Presentation

A known case of prostate adenocarcinoma with severe skeletal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Male

CT showing sclerotic changes of ribs, spine, pelvic and femoral bones.

Case Discussion

The skeletal findings are consistent with diffuse osteoblastic metastases of prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer often metastasizes to spine and pelvis, where it produced predominantly osteoblastic lesions and bone formation.
