Presentation

Bleeding.

Patient Data

Age: 40-year-old
Gender: Female
MRI

Enlarged uterus showing multiple innumerable submucosal, interstitial and subserous fibroids, with innumerable small fibroids blend together and totally replace the uterine parenchyma.

Umbilical hernia containing fat.

Case Discussion

Diffuse uterine leiomyomatosis: multiple innumerable small leiomyomas whcil blend together replacing most of the uterine parenchyma and causing diffuse uterine enlargement. 

All reported cases necessitate hysterectomy as hormonal treatments have not proved helpful.
