Case Discussion
Direct lateral interbody fusion (DLIF) also known as lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF) or eXtreme Lateral Interbody Fusion (XLIF) is one approach for lumbar interbody fusion. They can be standalone or used in combination with anterolateral screwed plates (as in this case) and posterior instrumented fusion.
