Right side foot drop.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

mri

MRI shows the following

  1. on T1W & T2W sagittal planes the disc between L4/L5 and L5/S1 showed degeneration and protrusion beyond disc margin, compressing the cauda equina and encroaching the adjacent neural foramen
  2. T2W axial images show postero-lateral right side herniation of disc material effacing the right neural foramen at L4/L5 and L5/S1 levels
  3. The myelogram in sagittal and coronal planes show a well defined lateral indentation due to disc material
