Presentation

Chronic knee pain. Due to patient's body habitus, the proper coil was not used.

Age: 55
Gender: Female

This case shows an abnormally thick / discoid lateral meniscus which developed a horizontal tear and a small para-meniscal cyst. This meniscus can be seen on 7 consecutive sagittal 3 mm cuts.

Of note is the tri-compartmental degeneration of the joint and a horizontal tear of the medial meniscus.

Case Discussion
