Dorsal dislocation of both the fifth finger PIP and DIP joints. Minor bony debris anterior to the proximal phalangeal head on the lateral projection may represent a fracture.
Case Discussion
This case is interesting for two reasons:
- it is uncommon to dislocate both interphalangeal joints together; and
- the frontal view is a great example supporting the saying 'one view is no view'.
