Root pocket at the site of a presumed left lower 3rd molar (wisdom) tooth.
Deep to this and perpendicular to the dentition are the roots of a eccentrically sited tooth, devoid of an occulsal surface.
Case Discussion
Rarely a 3rd molar tooth can become displaced during a challenging extraction. This may be part or all of the said tooth.
