Anti-reflux procedure in 1984, now epigastric pain

Age: 75
Gender: Male

Donut-shaped prosthesis (Angelchik) is normally placed around the gastro-oesophageal junction (below the diaphragm) to stop hiatus hernia and reflux.  In this case it has become displaced and sits free beneath the left hemidiaphragm.
