Linear shadowing hyperechoic structure within the endocervical canal consistent with an inferiorly displaced intrauterine contraceptive device.
Case Discussion
Displaced intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) is a common incidental finding. IUCD may be displaced to the cervical region, may penetrate the myometrium or migrate to an extrauterine location.
This patient eventually had it replaced properly.
