Minimally retracted complete rupture of the distal bicep’s tendon with peritendinous oedema and haemorrhage.

The intact lacerates fibrosus arising from the biceps tendon limit tendon retraction.

Both collateral ligaments have normal appearances.

The flexor and extensor tendons have normal appearances.

The ulna nerve is of normal signal intensity.

The bone marrow is of normal appearance.

Case Discussion

MR Imaging findings are consistent with distal biceps brachii complete rupture and intact lacertus fibrosus.
