Distal clavicle fracture hidden by x-ray marker

Right sided chest pain post fall ?rib fracture ?pneumothorax.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
Changes of COPD. No pneumothorax. No fracture identified.

Distal clavicle fracture without displacement. 

Case Discussion

With digital imaging pathology should not be hidden by x-ray markers, these should be placed outside the field of view, even if it is the periphery. Additionally, when using digital markers be careful to mark the correct side.
