Pain and swelling at the dorso-radial aspect of the forearm and wrist. Symptoms had started after assembling IKEA furniture.

Distal intersection syndrome. In this case, severe scapho-trapezoid arthritis may have been a co-factor. This is distinct from the more common (proximal) intersection syndrome
