Chronic renal failure due to obstructive urolithiasis

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

There is displacement of the right pigtail catheter with its proximal end in the distal third of the right ureter. Marked hydronephrosis with atrophy of the parenchyma of both kidneys

Case Discussion

The incidence of migration ranges from 3 to 10%, reaching 25% for some authors . Distal migration is three times more frequent than proximal migration, ranging from 0.6 to 3.5%.
