Presentation

Pain and swelling at the left thumb after a crushing injury by a hummer at work, on examination: a wound, mild swelling hotness with nail bed hematoma at the distal phalanx.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray shows chip fracture at the tip of the distal phalanx of the left thumb.

Case Discussion

This patient has got an injury during the work, he was not using the personal protection equipment.
