Presentation

The patient complained of pain at the right thumb after hit by concrete at work today morning, on examination: tenderness and swelling at he right thumb.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray shows non-displaced fracture at the distal phalanx of the right thumb.

Mild soft tissue swelling is noted.

Case Discussion

This patient has got an injury during the work, he was not using the personal protection equipment.

This is noncomplicated , nondisplaced fracture, immobilization is enough as treatment.
