There is a mildly displaced fracture of the terminal tuft of the distal phalanx of middle.
Case Discussion
Tuft(fingertip) fracture is the most commonly encountered type of distal phalanx fracture, often associated with a crush injury.
Splinting for 14 to 28 days should be followed by range of motion and strengthening of the DIP joint.
