Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Comminuted tuft fracture of the distal phalanx of the ring finger. There is mild dorsal angulation of the distal fracture fragment.

Case Discussion

Tuft fractures of the distal phalanx are generally stable. They do not require operative management and are treated with immobilization.
