Presentation

Fall onto outstretched arm, pain in the region of the distal radius.

Patient Data

Age: 9 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Cortical buckling, predominantly on the dorsal aspect of the distal radius. The volar cortex is unaffected, the fracture is incomplete.
