Distal radioulnar joint arthroplasty with Scheker prosthesis

Six weeks post-op.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Distal radioulnar joint prosthesis is noted. No hardware failure or periprosthetic lucency.

Case Discussion

This patient had prior distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) resection but obviously had ongoing symptoms and underwent a DRUJ arthroplasty. The Scheker prosthesis was designed for patients with ongoing symptoms with post trauma or surgery to the DRUJ.
