Distal ureteral urothelial cell carcinoma

Presentation

Work up for hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

A 40×28 mm enhancing soft tissue density mass with a small focus of calcification is present at the distal of the left ureter that involves the left ureterovesicle junction, causing left sided severe hydroureteronephrosis and renal parenchymal atrophic changes.

A few non enhanced simple cortical cysts are seen in both kidneys.

The prostate gland is enlarged.

Distal ureteral mass; pathology proved urothelial cell carcinoma which causes severe hydroureteronephrosis and renal parenchymal atrophy.
