Presentation

Tender dorsal midfoot post MVA.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Marked dorsal soft tissue swelling of the foot. Widening of the medial aspect of the Lisfranc joint with small avulsed bone fragment in keeping with a Lisfranc fracture/dislocation. There is an impacted intra-articular fracture of the medial aspect of the navicular bone distally and possible further fractures of the intermediate cuneiform bone and base of second metatarsal.

CT is advised to further characterize these injuries as well as exclude other radiographically occult fractures.
