Dorsal pancreatic agenesis

The pancreatic body and tail are absent. The pancreatic head, neck and uncinate process are normal. Hypodense lesion in the liver with a peripheral enhancing nodule, corresponding with an echogenic lesion at a prior ultrasound (not shown). No signs of bowel obstruction. The spleen is normal.
Case Discussion
Characteristic appearance of dorsal pancreatic agenesis. No polysplenia. The liver lesion is most compatible with a cavernous hemangioma.
