Presentation

Right wrist swelling on dorsal aspect - 2 years. P/H/O aspiration - 1 year. Followed by recurrence.

Patient Data

Age: 14 years
Gender: Female

A lobulated anechoic cystic lesion with a well-defined thin wall is noted on the dorsal aspect of wrist. The neck of the lesion shows extension towards scapholunate joint. It extends distally and passes beneath extensor carpi radialis brevis tendon from ulnar to radial side. Then lesion splays extensor carpi radialis brevis and longus tendon.

Distally, the bulbous part of the lesion overlies the 2nd metacarpal.
