Double aortic arch.
Case Discussion
Plain radiograph demonstrating a double aortic arch. Double aortic arch is a rare anomaly caused by persistence of the fetal double aortic arch system. Most commonly, one arch is dominant and the other arch may be of small caliber or represented by a fibrous band 1.
