Case Discussion
This case shows an incidental double-bundle posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). A double-bundle PCL consists of two separate bundles that originate adjacent to each other on the medial femoral condyle and insert on the posterior tibial plateau 1. It should be differentiated from the double PCL sign which can occur in a bucket handle tear of the medial meniscus or mimicked by normal anatomical ligaments 2,3.
