Diagnosed case of cyanotic congenital heart disease

Patient Data

Age: 3 years
Gender: Male
  • double outlet right ventricle (aorta and main pulmonary trunk arise from the right ventricle)
  • large atrial septal defect
  • small ventricular septal defect
  • dilated right atrium and right ventricle
  • hypolastic left ventricle
  • atelectatic changes in both lower lobes of the lungs

Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) refers to a cardiac anomaly that involves the right ventricular outflow tract in which both of the great arteries arise entirely or predominantly from the right ventricle.
