Routine screening mammogram
Patient Data
Gender: Female
From the case:
Ductal carcinoma in situ: calcification

There are calcifications running in the duct along the bottom right of the image, on a background of scattered calcification.
Case Discussion
On biopsy, this patient had ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). This case illustrates:
- The ductal distribution of the malignant calcifications.
- The orientation of the benign lobular calcifications of the lobular calcifications in the breast.
- The heterogeneous nature of the DCIS calcifications with sharp forms and differing densities.
