Dense parenchyma on the cc view of the right breast. The DCIS is seen laterally. Typical gross appearance of DCIS calcification.

The ultrasound of the palpable mass shows a large solid component with the calcifications of DCIS centrally. Doppler demonstrates an adjacent artery.
Case Discussion
It pays to do Doppler if you are going to do a needle biopsy to assess for nearby arteries. Stay away from the artery if you can.
