Case Discussion

Congenital renal anomalies are often identified.  Of these duplex collecting systems are one of the commonest.

This case shows a incidental duplex collecting system, at the time of imaging for an iatrogenic ureteric injury.  The operative approach involved stenting of both aspects of the collecting system, which is rarely seen.
