The following findings are noted:
- incomplete fusion of the right kidney upper and lower pole moieties
- malrotated lower right renal moiety
- double collecting system of both right renal moieties draining into a single ureter with large obstructing stone 50 mm at the pelviureteric junction (PUJ) causing backpressure at both upper and lower moieties.
- bilateral simple renal cysts, the largest on the right side
- bilateral ovarian cysts
Case Discussion
MRI findings are consistent with a right duplex collecting system with single ureter and right PUJ obstructing stone.
