Dupuytren contracture

Non-traumatic origin of palmer nodules in right hand for 2 months.

Patient Data

Age: about 55 yrs
Gender: Female

Static scan : Two separate, well-defined, hypoechoic, elongated lesions are noted at site of nodule pointed by patient, on palmer aspect of hand. There are between skin and 3rd, 4th flexion tendons. No cystic changes / calcification / vascularity is noted in either of nodules.

No tenosynovitis / tendon tear.

Dynamic scan : Underlying tendons show free movements.


Case Discussion

Ultrasound findings suggestive of palmer fibromatosis.
