Presentation

Left palmar nodule with mild local pain for the last few months. No trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

There is a well-defined lesion in the distal palmar region, measuring 8 x 7 x 2.6 mm. The lesion is superficial to the middle finger flexor tendons. It shows continuity with the peritendious slip of the palmar fascia. The lesion is solid, heterogeneously hypoechoic, non-compressible without calcification/cystic changes/ vascularity. It is separate from the adjacent neurovascular bundle. Dynamic scan shows free movements of the underlying flexor tendons.
