Age: 45 years old

Scanogram showing intracranial curvilinear calcifications along the cranial vault.

Coarse calcifications along the the dura mater of the cranial vault where are arranged into sheets that resemble a"stoned" lining both sides of the upper longitudinal venous sinus appearing as cobblestones, on both sides of the falx.

Case Discussion

Calcifications along the dura mater of the cranial vault where are arranged into sheets that resemble a "stoned" usually accidently discovered in the cephalic cuts a CT scan, lining both sides of the upper longitudinal venous sinus. Some are as large conglomerates that are often confused with meningiomas. It is a completely normal finding should not lead to misinterpretations.
