Presentation
Headache.
Patient Data
Scanogram showing intracranial curvilinear calcifications along the cranial vault.
Coarse calcifications along the dura mater of the cranial vault where are arranged into sheets that resemble a"stoned" lining both sides of the upper longitudinal venous sinus appearing as cobblestones, on both sides of the falx.
Case Discussion
Calcifications along the dura mater of the cranial vault which are arranged into sheets that resemble a "stoned" usually accidentally discovered in the cephalic cuts of a CT scan, lining both sides of the upper longitudinal venous sinus. Some are as large conglomerates that are often confused with meningiomas. It is a completely normal finding and should not lead to misinterpretations.
