No intracranial bleeding or fracture.
About 9 mm fluid density structure in the left transverse sinus noted.
About 17 mm left frontal sclerotic calvarial bone lesion, likely osteoma.
Multiple retention cysts in the maxillary sinuses.
Case Discussion
Dural venous sinus cysts are rare, mostly congenital lesions, which are typically asymptomatic incidental fiindings. In larger cysts such as this a fluid density can be measured. These have to be differentiated from pathology such as e.g. aeroceles due to fracture.
